Live Inspired, Live.Light
India is a Podcast host and enjoys spending her free time in nature, mainly doing yoga on her paddleboard. We asked her about how she Lives Light and what that means to her.
"For me, living light means that no two days are the same. My job as a podcaster involves different tasks every single day, and that variety keeps me feeling refreshed. From sourcing guests, researching interview questions to then recording and editing episodes. And then there’s always something new in nature. Differences in the weather, the experiences, the wildlife, and the scenery. Focusing on those small differences allows you to see the beauty in the everyday."
"I spend my days as a podcast host. I love how exciting it can be to learn about different guests’ lives and hear them speak passionately about what they stand for. I chose this career because I adore speaking to people and being creative. It’s not your stereotypical 9-5. If I have my recording equipment with me, I can work from anywhere I like! My career is special to me because it allows me to explore my inquisitive side, be creative, and learn from the inspiring people I interview."
"In my free time I like to explore the great outdoors. Either walking my dog, cycling, or getting out on the water for my greatest passion, paddleboarding! It gives me time away from my laptop or being tapped into technology to simply ‘be’ in nature either on land or on water. I believe that the more time we spend being kind to ourselves and our natural world the more we can live a happy, healthy life. The simple act of getting outside allows me to dream big and use the power of roaming through nature to fuel my soul."
"I find it very easy to switch off and transition from one passion to the other. I am very lucky that I do a lot of my work from home and live only 5 minutes from the sea and a canal. So once I close my laptop for the day, I can very quickly walk or cycle to my favourite spots."
